Really love the article! I've read House of Leaves in the past, and wouldn't describe it as that. I didn't come away from it thinking it was "deeply unnerving" although I did read it when I was much younger, so I think its likely I didnt understand it in a big way.

i remember hearing about that book in highschool! i didnt feel ready for it then and i dont feel ready for it now, but maybe someday
